The NASCAR Cup Series is returning to North Wilkesboro Speedway for the first time in 30 years this weekend, with the highly-anticipated Window World 450.
Cup Series drivers completed another intense race at EchoPark Speedway last weekend, marking the second time the circuit has visited Atlanta this year. Ryan Blaney took the checkered flag on Sunday, replacing Tyler Reddick, who did so in February.
In just a few days, drivers will turn their attention to North Wilkesboro, a track that hasn’t been used for points racing since 1996. The unfamiliarity will surely be an interesting factor in North Carolina, though many Cup Series drivers did test out this circuit in last year’s All-Star race.
