Netflix just dropped a new dark fantasy action drama series, and it’s going all in on demon-heavy action, moody supernatural world-building, and a tone that’ll probably feel familiar if you liked Constantine and KPop Demon Hunters.

The comparison tracks. You get the darker occult storytelling, morally messy heroes, and horror edge that made Constantine stick, but there’s also that bright, fast-moving demon-slaying energy that made KPop Demon Hunters so easy to binge.
KPop Demon Hunters wasn’t some small cult success. Huntr/x (Rumi, Mira, and Zoey) fought demons while juggling their pop-star lives and a rival demon boy band, and the movie put up huge numbers. According to Netflix, it spent 52 straight weeks on Netflix’s Top 10 English Movies chart, passed 541 million hours viewed, and pulled in 130 million views in the first half of 2026. On Rotten Tomatoes, KPop Demon Hunters holds a 91% score with critics and 99% with audiences. According to the Academy Awards, the film won the 2026 Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. It also already has a sequel tentatively set for 2029, plus concert and physical media plans.
So if you’re into stylish supernatural action and the kind of world-building that’s built for fandom, this new Netflix series looks like it’s worth a look. Netflix may have another monster hit on its hands.
You can stream the new series now on Netflix.
