Malaysia Travel Takes Centre Stage as Japan Expo Twenty Twenty-Six Draws Fifty Thousand Visitors with Spectacular Culture, Tourism, Entertainment and Business Experiences
Malaysia travel is set to take centre stage as Japan Expo Malaysia Twenty Twenty-Six prepares to welcome around fifty thousand visitors to Kuala Lumpur from 24 to 26 July, driven by a powerful mix of Japanese culture, tourism promotion, business networking, live entertainment, food, technology, anime and traditional arts. Held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre as an official Visit Malaysia Year Twenty Twenty-Six event, the free-entry expo will bring together more than fifty exhibitors and over twenty Japanese and Malaysian performers, while exclusive concerts, cultural showcases, awards and a major cosplay competition will further strengthen tourism exchange and people-to-people ties between Malaysia and Japan.
Malaysia is reinforcing its position as one of Asia’s leading cultural tourism destinations as Japan Expo Malaysia (JEMY) 2026 returns for its seventh edition from 24 to 26 July 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Recognised as an official event under the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 calendar, the three-day celebration is designed to deepen tourism, business and cultural links between Malaysia and Japan while welcoming around 50,000 visitors from across the country and the wider Southeast Asian region. By combining authentic Japanese experiences with Malaysian hospitality, the event highlights how cultural festivals continue to stimulate tourism, encourage international partnerships and strengthen regional travel.
Japan Expo Malaysia Returns with Bigger Tourism and Cultural Showcase
