The Westies is set to make its series premiere on Sunday on MGM+
MGM+ is set to air the world premiere of the debut season of The Westies on Sunday night, which will be available to stream live on Fubo. The crime drama is set in New York in the 1980’s, set in the world of the “Westies” criminal gang. The Westies was created by Chris Brancato and Michael Panes. Brancato has had a long career which consists of creating series such as Of Kings and Prophets,Narcos, Narcos: Mexico, Hotel Cocaine and Godfather of Harlem. He started out his career as a writer for several episodes of the 1992 season of Beverly Hills, 90210. Brancato also co-wrote the X-Files episode “Eve” in 1993.
