The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series returns to action after a three-week hiatus for Saturday’s LiUNA 150 at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. The race marks the last of the four road course races on the schedule this season, with series leader Layne Riggs winning two of the first three. That included a victory at last month’s Navy 250 in San Diego, giving Riggs three checkered flags in the last four races and four victories on the season

The race marks the second straight year the trucks will run at Lime Rock Park, a 1.530-mile circuit featuring seven turns on the natural contours in the Litchfield Hills. The race covers 100 laps, with Stages 1 and 2 set for 35 laps each before a final stage wrapping in the last 30 turns around the circuit. Corey Heim won the inaugural LiUNA 150 on his way to the series championship
Qualifying was scheduled for Saturday morning ahead of the race. Riggs comes to Lime Rock Park with a 65-point lead over Kaden Honeycutt, who won the other road course race at Watkins Glen earlier this season. The top 10 drivers qualify for the seven-race Chase, with five events remaining ahead of the run for the series championship
Jake Garcia currently holds down the No. 10 spot, five points up on Grant Enfinger and 10 points ahead of Stewart Friesen. After Riggs and Honeycutt, the rest of the top ten includes Chandler Smith, Gio Ruggiero, Christian Eckes, Ty Majeski, Ben Rhodes, Daniel Hemric, Tyler Ankrum and Garcia
