A teaser trailer for Tiny Metal: Zero Line, an anime based on the Advance Wars-like turn-based strategy series Tiny Metal, was revealed earlier this week on July 9. That day also saw the series’ world premiere screening at Paris’ Japan Expo 2026
The anime is directed by khara’s Hiroyasu Kobayashi (Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 “The Song of Four Wings” director, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time CG art director). Other staff credits include:

The aftermath of the Great War scarred the worldwith a terrible legacy: the Lost Tech
Caches of powerful war machines buried beneath the earth,forgotten after the end of the conflict
Because of the terrible history of these weapons,the Kingdom of Artemisia refuses to seek out or use them.However, one commander, Major Nathan Gries, begins to believethat the only way to keep the world safe from the Lost Tech isto locate and secure them, to prevent them from falling into enemy hands

The Tiny Metal games are developed byArea 35. The third game in the series, Tiny Metal 2, was delayed from 2026 to spring 2027 and will be out on Steam “and other platforms.”
