Auction items currently on display at the Ozaki Theodora House in Tokyo
On New Year’s Day and April 3, Japan’s Noto Peninsula and Taiwan’s Hualien City experienced strong earthquakes. While life is slowly returning to normal, both places still need help. Many people and companies have stepped up to lend a helping hand, and from August 23 to September 30, Theodora Ozaki House in Tokyo partnered with numerous manga creators and Monobank to run a charity to help residents of the Noto Peninsula and Japan .

Starting from Friday, August 23, the Noto Peninsula and Taiwan Disaster Relief Charity Exhibition and Ozaki Former Residence Charity Exhibition will open. Ozaki’s former residence will bring together original illustrations by famous manga artists! Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, July 23rd.

Following the announcement, the museum released the 40 original illustrations featured in the exhibition:
Although not explicitly stated, the autograph charity auction appears to be limited to residents of Japan. The museum’s website states that people signing up for the auction must provide proof of identity. For example, driver’s license, personal number card, passport, health insurance card, resident registration card, etc. Although it is possible to obtain a driver’s license or passport (passport) from your country of residence or country of origin, my number card and resident registration card are only issued in Japan. Considering how many manga fans there are around the world, it would be a real shame if the auction was also limited to residents of Japan.
