Andrew Keegan may have been a heartthrob and one of the most recognizable teen actors of the ’90s, but according to his fellow teen stars, he wasn’t exactly the easiest teenager to be around.
During a recent appearance on the We’re Still Here Babe podcast, hosted by The Secret World of Alex Mack alum Natanya Ross, Jodie Sweetin and Ross reminisced about their experiences growing up in the entertainment industry, including their memories of Keegan, who appeared in the final season of Full House.

“Andrew at 14 was the worst,” Ross joked, quickly adding, “Love you, but yeah.”
Sweetin playfully agreed, recalling that Keegan was “so oblivious to any sort of emotional awareness” at the time. “No, love you, but he was all over the place, and we were just in it,” she added.
Keegan was part of a particularly memorable moment in Full House history. Sweetin explained that although the final episode to air featured Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) getting amnesia after falling off a horse, the episode featuring Keegan — as a boy who stood up Sweetin’s Stephanie — was actually the last one the cast filmed.
“He was there the very last taping of Full House. That was his episode that we taped,” Sweetin recalled.
To which Ross replied, “Wow, that’s incredible. Yeah, he really is a such an incredible running theme of the ’90s.”
“Andrew just pops up everywhere!” Sweetin added.
Ross also shared memories of crossing paths with Keegan while she was working on episode of Boy Meets World,in which she was dressed like a nerd, complete with pigtails and glasses. “We were getting ready to tape, and there pops Andrew. He just had to come say hello to everybody because he was filming Thunder Alley,” she recalled. Adding that she was horrified for him to see her the costume, saying, “Don’t look at me. I can’t let you see me like this!”

The first time Ross met Keegan, however, was on set of the 1995 TV movie Freaky Friday. “I met Andrew when [Marla Sokoloff] and I did Freaky Friday. She had a crush on Andrew… and I fell madly in love with Casey [Andrew’s Brothers].”
Sweetin revealed that she had also had crush on Keegan’s brother, Casey, while Ross enthusiastically agreed that Casey was the popular favorite among their peers.
The conversation eventually shifted to the emotional challenges of growing up in the entertainment industry. Sweetin opened up about the identity crisis she experienced after Full House ended when she was 13, explaining that she struggled with losing the stability and sense of family that came with working on the show.

“I had a huge sense of grief and loss that I didn’t recognize as that,” she said, reflecting on how difficult it was to suddenly have the life she had known since childhood change.
While the conversation offered a glimpse into the challenges of growing up in the spotlight, it also served as a reminder of just how intertwined the young stars of the ’90s were. And although Ross and Sweetin had a few playful words about what Keegan was like as a teenager, there’s clearly plenty of affection behind the memories.
