UFOs are starting to show up throughout the Steal an Egg servers, requesting that players bring them specific eggs. These UFOs first began appearing ahead of the UFO Invasion event. Players who provide eggs to these UFOs receive debris from the ship, which they can redeem for the Abducted Mutation. However, there’s a small chance players can go onto the UFO ship themselves, and there’s a vault players can unlock. In this guide, we’ll be covering everything you need to know about how to get onto the UFO and the UFO Vault Code in Steal an Egg.
How to Unlock UFOs
You need to first unlock UFOs. You can do this by speaking with Paranoid Pete, who appears in the Safe Zone.
You can speak with him to learn about the recent UFO sightings, and then you’ll need to complete the puzzle to unlock the Scanner Code. How this works is you need to get the power side matched up and connected to the tracker. The formation will look different for each player, but the concept is the same each time, where you have to swap the valves around, bringing the power source to the right side. If you’re not enjoying your particular puzzle, step away from the board and interact with it again. You’ll receive a new pattern to solve.
After you solve it, speak with Pete, and he’ll give you a UFO detector. It appears in your inventory, and you can access it from your hotbar. While you’re holding it, you’ll be able to track down a UFO that appears. However, these only show up every 30 minutes (at :00 or :30). You’ll need to wait until that happens, and it should occur across all servers.
When a UFO appears, take out your Signal Decoder, and then traverse the map. The UFO will appear randomly in any of the available biomes. It will then request that you bring three different eggs with a special signal. You’ll need to follow a red line bringing you to those eggs, where you have to steal them and bring them back to the ship.
When you have all three eggs, the UFO leaves behind a small amount of debris, and you can bring that back to Pete to get the Abducted Mutation.
How to Get Onto a UFO
There’s a chance the UFO that appears on your server could be a rare one. If it’s a rare UFO, when you stand underneath it, you’ll be able to go inside the ship. There, you’ll find multiple tubes and containers that you can break, allowing you to collect even more UFO Debris than you normally could find.
The real rarity behind this UFO is the fact that you can now access a vault in the back of the ship.
How to Unlock UFO Vault – Vault Code
When you interact with the Vault, it requests that you give it a four-digit code.
The four-digit code is hidden somewhere on the ship. You can find a small note on the dashboard of the ship, and the code will be 4827(if the code ever changes, check the dashboard at the front of the ship, and look for the code again to see the new change).
You’ll receive the exclusive Alien Staff, a baseball bat you can use to hit other players as they attempt to steal any eggs from you.
