Clara Tan’s reported ICE detention has now taken a new turn after an X user accused her of predatory behaviour in Singapore’s cosplay communities. An old Imgur album has also resurfaced along with the claims, which has prompted questions about its contents, authenticity and the allegations themselves.
Clara Tan, a Singapore-born transgender woman and cosplayer who is known for her portrayal of Super Creek from Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, has now found herself in the spotlight of an online debate after her reported detention by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
While the incident drew sympathy from anime and cosplay fans on the other hand, an X (formerly Twitter) user has now brought up serious allegations about her alleged predatory past in Singapore’s cosplay communities. The claims have now sparked a debate, with users questioning both the allegations and the evidence being shared to support them.
Why is Clara Tan facing predator allegations
?
The whole discussion surrounding Clara Tan took a different turn after an X (formerly Twitter) user, @quackotoro, alleged that she had a history of predatory behaviour and was also known as a sexual predator and paedophile within Singapore’s cosplay communities.
The post urged the audience who were sharing Tan’s detention story to look at the allegations before they form any opinion about it and shared a link to an Imgur album which contained screenshots.
To everyone in support of Clara I believe your hearts are in the right place but please be aware that she is a known predator and pedophile in Singaporean communities. Linked below is a compilation of testimonies.https://t.co/nzVHBQiFxJ

As mentioned by the user in the caption: “To everyone in support of Clara, I believe your hearts are in the right place, but please be aware that she is a known predator and paedophile in Singaporean communities. Linked below is a compilation of testimonies.”
These allegations have now added another layer to the discussions taking place online.
What does the viral Imgur album actually show?
The linked Imgur album is a short collection of screenshots connected to an older Facebook dispute from January 2018, and it consists of Facebook-related images and posts from a personal dispute in Singapore cosplay/theatre circles.
The visible caption from the link is, “That’s me. Right there.
Clara made a report to FB claiming that I’m targeting her and ‘bullying’ her.”
The album mainly contains a small number of screenshots. The publicly accessible and readable content focuses on interpersonal conflict involving a Facebook report about alleged targeting and bullying. The page also indicates additional images can be loaded.
As seen, the material primarily focuses on claims which involved bullying, targeting and also a disagreement in which someone alleged that Clara had reported them.
However, it is a set of unverified 2018 community screenshots, and it does not contain clear, detailed written testimonies describing sexual predation, grooming of minors, paedophilia, or similar criminal acts.
These have now resurfaced after Clara Tan’s recent ICE detention story became widely shared. Also, there are no publicly established findings by the court which support the claim that Clara is a sexual predator or a paedophile.
@quackotoro a compilation of testimonies and its some loosely connected ramblings and out of context dms, all of which are of questionable origin and authenticity. idk about this one

How are social media users reacting to the allegations?
As the claims have resurfaced, the discussion has now shifted from circumstances of detention to credibility of the claims against her.
Users on social media platforms, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), seem to question the origin and authenticity, stating, “It’s a compilation of testimonies and some loosely connected ramblings and out-of-context DMs, all of which are of questionable origin and authenticity.” Idk about this one.”
@quackotoro So… did the person dressed up as Super Creek to attempt to “Goo Goo Babies” some kids?

While one of the user questions, “So… did the person dressed up as Super Creek attempt to “Goo Goo Babies” some kids?”
A confused user questions, “I’m confused: are you posting this to justify that ICE can kidnap her b* suddenly they are the police and immigration authorities rolled into one? Issues should be solved one at a time, whether the allegations are true or not.”

One seems to share an experience: “This is good to know because this person walked up to me while I was talking with a friend and was touching me and touching my head and face (all on my mask) and my chest/belly area, talking about some who’s mommy good boy. I backed away and said, ‘Please stop,’ and they kept going.”

Who is Clara Tan? What happened during her ICE detention?
Clara Tan is a 33-year-old Singapore-born transgender woman and also a cosplayer known for portraying Super Creek from Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
She gained widespread attention after she described an alleged encounter with ICE agents at Rochester Airport on October 26, 2026.
According to her Facebook account, four men identifying themselves as the ICE agents approached her after she returned from a California fan event.
She alleged that they had tackled her when she made an attempt to make a phone call, which injured her left foot, before even taking her to a detention facility in Bata
For the time being, the two issues remain distinct: Clara’s reported ICE detention has received a lot of media coverage, while on the other hand, the predator allegations remain unverified and are just online claims, and the resurfaced Imgur album does not establish the serious allegations being made against her.
