Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Is Now Streaming on Crunchyroll

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Clubis now available to stream in India on Crunchyroll, with Japanese audio and English subtitles. The musical anime follows a group of students who pursue their own ambitions as school idols while working together to keep their school’s idol club running.

The story takes place at Nijigasaki High School in Tokyo, where students are encouraged to follow different interests. Yu Takasaki becomes fascinated with school idols after watching a performance with her childhood friend Ayumu Uehara. The discovery inspires Ayumu to pursue the same dream, but they soon learn that the school’s School Idol Club has disbanded.

Determined to revive it, the students begin recruiting members and organising performances. Kasumi Nakasu, Setsuna Yuki, Ai Miyashita, Rina Tennoji, and other aspiring idols gradually join the effort. Unlike some earlier groups in theLove Live!franchise, the Nijigasaki members primarily pursue individual performances while supporting one another rather than working solely as a single idol group.

The project was introduced in 2017 as part of the widerLove Live!multimedia franchise and itsSchool Idol Festival All Starsgame. The franchise combines anime, music, games, and live performances centred on fictional school idol groups.

Sunrise produced the television anime, with Tomoyuki Kawamura directing, Jin Tanaka writing the <a href="https://comicvibe.com/how-much-would-it-cost-to-build-a-pc-similar-to-the-xbox-series-s/” title=”How much would it cost to build a PC similar to the Xbox Series S?”>series composition, and Naoki Endo composing the music. The first season aired in 2020, followed by a second season in 2022, for a total of 26 episodes. The franchise has also expanded with the short-formNijiyon Animation, an original video animation, and a trilogy of theatrical films.
