TAAG Angola Airlines has entered into a partnership to deploy AirFi’s portable streaming inflight entertainment (IFE) solution across its mixed fleet of long-haul and regional aircraft. Together, the partners aim to enhance the digital journey for TAAG Angola passengers by delivering modern inflight entertainment services, which they can access easily using their own WiFi-enabled devices. This collaboration reflects TAAG’s commitment to ongoing digital transformation and creating exceptional passenger experiences.
The growing airline operates a diverse fleet spanning regional, medium- and long-haul aircraft, including Airbus A220s, Boeing 737s, 777s and 787 Dreamliners, as well as De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprops, making this deployment exceptional in terms of the variety of aircraft outfitted with IFE over a short period of time.
“We are proud to support TAAG Angola Airlines in enhancing its inflight offering,” said Laura Rösges, CEO, AirFi. “TAAG’s bold, future-focused approach is perfectly aligned with our mission to transform how passengers connect and engage in the air.”
Furthermore, investment in Airbus A220-300s for intra-African routes and Boeing 787 Dreamliners for intercontinental services is helping TAAG Angola improve efficiency and passenger comfort.
Because AirFi’s technology is fast and straightforward to deploy, TAAG Angola has been able to enhance inflight entertainment and improve passenger experience with minimal aircraft downtime or modification.
