November will bring a double dose of Timothy Olyphant – on both the big and small screens.
The Modesto-bred actor first will reprise his role of Clark Ross in the Apple TV comedy “Stick.”
Season two of the hit series starring Owen Wilson arrives on Nov. 4.
Olyphant appeared as a recurring guest in season one, but since has been promoted to a series regular, “meaning Clark Ross will play a more integral role,” according to a story on screenrant.com.
His character is a formal rival of Wilson’s Pryce Cahill, who helped destroy the latter’s professional golf career two decades earlier.
“Stick” returns with a two-episode premiere on Nov. 4. New episodes will be released on Wednesdays through Dec. 30.
You also can catch the Beyer High School graduate in a sequel to a multi-Oscar-nominated film.
First in IMAX theaters and later on Netflix, Olyphant reprises another role in “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth.”
He’ll return as actor James Stacey from the original film, Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Brad Pitt will be back in his Oscar-winning role as the original’s titular stuntman.
The film premieres in IMAX theaters on Nov. 25, then will stream on Netflix beginning Dec. 23.
For Modesto area fans, it’s scheduled to play in IMAX at Riverbank’s Galaxy Theater
Olyphant was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011 as best actor in a drama for his starring role in the FX series “Justified,” in 2019 as part of the team behind “Deadwood: The Movie” and in 2021 for guest actor in a drama series for “The Mandalorian.”
