Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are giving fans a reunion more than two decades in the making.
The former Disney stars have teamed up for a new Rare Beauty blush campaign that celebrates their longtime friendship, complete with throwback photos, references to their early acting days and even the return of a fan-favorite vlog tradition.
Gomez marked the collaboration in an Oct. 29 Instagram post, sharing campaign photos alongside throwback snapshots from their decades-long friendship.

“Over 25 years of ups and downs in life and friendship and growth, there has always been a constant that has brought me back to you, @ddlovato,” Gomez wrote.
“You were the person who knew the seven-year-old me who just had a dream, and I knew that you had a very big dream, too,” she continued, referencing the pair’s early days on “Barney & Friends” in the early 2000s. “I love what we’ve been through. I’m proud of what we’ve been through. Thank you for still being one of the most unbelievably real honest human beings in my life.”
Gomez ended the tribute with a simple message: “I love you with all my heart.”

The campaign leans heavily into nostalgia, with callbacks to the pair’s Disney Channel era, including their 2009 film “Princess Protection Program.”
As part of the collaboration, Gomez and Lovato also reunited for a vlog, recreating the videos they used to post together as kids for the first time in nearly two decades.
The pair even brought back their signature “Yo, yo!” introduction before answering fan-submitted questions, including one from “Shane Gray,” a possible nod to Joe Jonas’ “Camp Rock” character.
Elsewhere, Gomez and Lovato donned tiaras and revisited photos from throughout their friendship, laughing about some of the moments that now make them cringe.

The reunion marks a full-circle moment for the stars, whose careers have evolved alongside one another since they first met as child actors. Both released albums in 2025, with Gomez and husband Benny Blanco’s “I Said I Love You First” reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while Lovato’s “It’s Not That Deep” debuted in the top 10.
The longtime friends have also shared musical success together. Their 2009 duet, “One and the Same,” became a fan favorite following the release of “Princess Protection Program.”
The campaign’s tagline sums up the collaboration’s theme: “True friends know exactly how to make each other blush.”
