Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut Sigma is gearing up for its Digital premiere and the film will be soon available to an OTT platform.

Tamil action drama Sigma, directed by Jason Sanjay,  will make its digital debut on October 30, 2026.

The film starring Sundeep Kishan is the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay.

After a disappointing theatrical run, Sigma will now be available to audiences online in multiple language versions, including Telugu and Hindi.  Directed by Jason Sanjay and produced by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, Sigma was released in theatres on October 2.

The film generated interest ahead of its release because of Jason’s entry into filmmaking, while Sundeep Kishan headlines the cast. Faria Abdullah plays the female lead.

When and where to watch Sigma on OTT

Sigma will begin streaming on Netflix on October 30. The film will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, giving it an opportunity to reach audiences beyond its original theatrical market.

Although it opened to a decent response, its box-office collections declined from the second day onwards.

The OTT release is expected to give viewers who missed the film in cinemas another opportunity to watch Jason Sanjay’s first feature as a director.

What is Sigma about and who stars in the film?

Sigma is an action drama featuring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role and Faria Abdullah as the female lead. The supporting cast includes Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan and Yog Japee.

The film’s technical team includes composer Thaman S, cinematographer Krishnan Vasant and editor Praveen KL. It is produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions.

The film is an important career milestone for Jason Sanjay, who has stepped behind the camera rather than following his father Vijay’s path as an actor.

Before the theatrical release, Jason spoke about keeping the story confidential, even from his family, including dad Vijay and his grandfather, filmmaker S. A. Chandrasekhar.

Jason has also expressedsaid he wishes to establish an identity of his own in the film industry.

Despite the anticipation surrounding Jason Sanjay’s debut, Sigma struggled to sustain its opening momentum.

The film collected around Rs 2.35 crore net in India on its opening day and ended its first week with approximately Rs 8.23 crore net.

The film’s reported total domestic net collection stood at Rs 8.92 crore, while its India gross and worldwide gross were reported at Rs 10.53 crore. These figures fell short of the film’s estimated production budget of Rs 30 crore.
