After dropping Game 1, the Dream have responded with back-to-back victories to take control of the championship series. Atlanta dominated Game 3 on Wednesday, cruising to a 97-71 victory behind another impressive performance from Angel Reese. The star forward finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Rhyne Howard added 16 points and Naz Hillmon contributed 15. Reese has been nearly unstoppable over the last two games, combining for 51 points and 28 rebounds as Atlanta moves within two victories of its first WNBA championship.
Golden State now faces a crucial Game 4 matchup as it looks to avoid falling into a 3-1 series deficit. The Valkyries have struggled offensively throughout the Finals, failing to shoot better than 35% from the field in any of the first three games. Gabby Williams, Veronica Burton and the rest of Golden State’s lineup will need a much stronger performance to even the series before returning home. Game 4 tips off Saturday at 1 PM ET from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with coverage on NBC and Peacock.
This is a great WNBA matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
