Publisher TribeVR announced on Steam that Zenith: Nexus will shut down on December 18, 2026. The game’s paid DLC and premium currency have already been pulled from sale, but Zenith: Nexus itself is still available to download from the PS Store at the time of this writing.
Zenith: Nexus came with two game modes, both of which will become playable. The free-to-play Infinite Realms had players slay “mobs with magic and race across parkour challenges in quick session-based runs.” The Last City (paid DLC) is the 100+-hour MMO that has players teaming up with friends to “tackle perilous dungeons, compete in PVP, or just explore a gorgeous anime world together.”
“Thank you to everyone who explored this world and supported the game,” TribeVR said. “You gave Zenith its community, and we’re grateful we had the chance to share this world with you.”
TribeVR didn’t say why Zenith was shutting down, but it’s safe to assume that a dwindling player base didn’t justify the cost of keeping the MMO alive.
