New law enforcement liaison for Mississippi at Roblox named
Attorney General Lynn Fitch has announced who will take on the role of law enforcement liaison for Mississippi at Roblox.
Shawn Wolfe will take on the new position.
Fitch says that, in his role, Wolfe will make sure the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and other state law enforcement members have real-time or near-real-time 24/7/365 access. Wolfe will also plan and execute educational programs for law enforcement agencies on response policies, and give guidance and education to parents, caregivers, and educators on product and policy safety.
The liaison position was created as part of a settlement with Roblox announced in June.
In February 2023, Wolfe began the position as Director of Cyber Crime at the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office. He began working at the attorney general’s office after a 26-year career with the federal government.
In a news release, Wolfe was quoted as saying he looks forward to “working alongside General Fitch and our law enforcement partners in a new capacity to protect all Mississippians.”
