Skyfields has opened Expressions of Interest for a 3.12-hectare Runway Entertainment Precinct at Perth Airport, seeking operators capable of delivering a destination venue.
Perth Airport Skyfields seeks hospitality and entertainment operators
Skyfields by Perth Airport (PER) has opened an Expressions of Interest (EOI) process for experienced hospitality, entertainment and leisure operators to help shape a new destination precinct at Dunreath Green.
The opportunity centres on the Runway Entertainment Precinct, a 3.12-hectare site within the broader 26-hectare Dunreath Green development, offering direct runway views and scope for large-scale hospitality, entertainment and leisure venues.
Dunreath Green marks Airport Estate expansion
The EOI follows site preparation works, as Skyfields unlocks the first major expansion of development land on the Airport Estate since the 1990s.
“The scale of this land supports uses that simply aren’t possible in a standard suburban centre. It’s a blank canvas for drawcard developments, adventure-leisure concepts and flagship destinations,” said Perth Airport Chief Property Officer Dan Sweet.
Mr Sweet added: “We’re looking for experienced operators with bold ideas who can make the most of the front-row views of the airfield and help create a destination that gives people a reason to visit, stay and return.”
Dunreath Green sits alongside an established retail destination encompassing DFO Perth, Costco and Dunreath Village. The site is around 15 minutes from Perth CBD, with road accesse Station
Skyfields said the vision is deliberately different from a conventional large-format retail development, combining retail with destination hospitality, entertainment and leisure uses linked by a people-friendly main street, green spaces and public realm. Up to 50,000 square metres of space has been identified for the broader precinct.
The EOI seeks proposals demonstrating a compelling destination concept and customer experience, relevant operating experience, and the financial and delivery capability to establish and operate a large-scale venue. Skyfields wants an operator to develop the concept collaboratively, with flexibility around design and the ultimate venue offering.
Expressions of Interest close on Wednesday 25 November 2026. Opportunities for large format retail and leisure operators across the broader precinct will be announced as the development progresses.
