The Bachelorettealum Tyler Cameron is gearing up for his dad era.
The 33-year-old reality star announced on Tuesday’s episode of Dancing With the Stars his fiancée, Tate Madden, is pregnant with their first child.
The announcement came amid a super emotional “Dedication Night,” which saw Cameron and his professional partner, Sharna Burgess, performing a contemporary routine to “Supermarket Flowers” by Ed Sheeran. The dance was dedicated to mothers everywhere. Cameron lost his mother, Andrea, to a brain aneurysm in 2020. She was 55.

During Tuesday’s episode, the reality star got emotional about marrying Madden without his mom present. Cameron noted that he believes his late mom sent Madden to him.
“She’s going to be the most incredible mama just like you, and we’re going to have a baby,” a voiceover of Cameron revealed in the middle of the routine, as he read a letter to his late mother. After the dance, pink confetti adorned the dance floor, revealing to Cameron and Madden that they are having a baby girl.
Cameron rose to fame when appearing on Hannah Brown’s Bacheloretteseason in 2019. He did not get her final rose, but became a social media sensation. Cameron went on to find love with Madden after they met through a mutual friend. Madden appeared on the reality star’s Going Home With Tyler Cameron show in 2024, and the couple revealed their relationship that same year.
“Tyler and I actually met a couple times before he remembered meeting me. I thought Tyler and I were actually good friends,” Madden quipped during a November 2024 episode of the “Trading Secrets” podcast. “Turns out he didn’t know who I was.”
This past August, Cameron popped the question, proposing to Madden on Florida’s Little Palm Island beach. “Better late than never they say,” he captioned the Instagram announcement. Cameron followed up with a video of the proposal, offering more insight into the sweet moment.
“A moment we will forever cherish. A moment we get to build on for the rest of our lives. The best chapters are in front of us and I can’t wait to do them with you,” he wrote. “I documented the whole thing for the kids to watch someday but you can also check it out on YouTube.”

As for wedding planning? It’s still in the works. For now, Madden is continuing to support Cameron during his DWTSjourney.
“Tate has put her whole life on pause to be out here. We have so much stuff going on at home. We have many businesses together,” Cameron told The Hollywood Reporter in a profile published on Oct. 13. “She put all that on pause to just be here and be the greatest support system I could have ever asked for.”
Dancing With the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
