Hat Trick indie Strong Watch Studios is working with creators Lewys Ball and Morf Peyiazis who will front music and pop culture video podcast Tell Me I’m Wrong for the BBC.
Every Wednesday, the group chat will go public as Lewys and Morf dive into online trends, from celebrity drama and fandom chaos to new music, artist beefs, fashion, and TikToks.
Tell Me I’m Wrong will be available on YouTube, BBC Sounds and podcast platforms from Wednesday 21 October.
Tell Me I’m Wrong also places audience participation at the centre of the format. Viewers and listeners will be invited to challenge opinions, submit their own takes, provide “receipts” and help shape future episodes, making the online community an ongoing part of the conversation.
Lewys Ball says: “Tell Me I’m Wrong is the love child of my two favourite things: internet culture and yapping, so naturally, I’m very excited to have found a way to make my opinions everyone else’s problem. I can’t wait to get into the weeds of my hottest takes alongside Morf and hopefully spark some lively debates with everyone listening, because what’s the internet without a few hot takes? All in the name of BBC Sounds, of course.”
Morf Peyiazis says: “Tell Me I’m Wrong is the perfect excuse to finally air all the pop culture hot takes I’ve been saving for the group chat. I can’t wait to get together with Lewys every week to dissect each other’s opinions, challenge some questionable takes and probably start a few debates along the way. Nothing is off limits, and we want to hear what you’ve got to say too!”
Tell Me I’m Wrong is produced by Strong Watch Studios for BBC Sounds.
