Fortnite x One Piece Mini Season: Release date, live event and more details
Fortnite x One Piece collaboration has finally been teased (Image via Fortnite)
Fortnite is heading into the end of Chapter 7 Season 4 Override, and the buildup to its next mini-season has started. A mysterious pirate chest has appeared on the island, and leakers are increasingly confident the theme will be One Piece.Although Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed the collaboration, the evidence is stacking up, and it is very likely that the crossover will be announced really soon. In the section below, we take a deeper look at all the recent Fortnite x One Piece leaks.
Fortnite x One Piece Mini Season release date
Leaks point to the mini-season beginning on November 1, 2026, right after Chapter 7 Season 4 ends. As per reports, it would run until Chapter 8 Season 1 arrives on December 5. Both dates come from leakers and haven’t been confirmed by Epic.
Fortnite x One Piece Pirate Chest teaser
As part of teasing the collaboration, Epic Games have added a teaser chest on the Fortnite island. It sits east of Sunken Shores and is marked on the map with a chest icon. You can’t damage it, and it will remain until the end of Override. Datamines suggest it will transform in stages across the final week, becoming a purple-wood chest with gold corner braces, and it reportedly plays a different song each day.The chest isn’t a perfect One Piece tell. It has no One Piece branding and has been playing vocaloid-style music, which could also lead to the teaser pointing to a broader anime-themed season rather than a purely One Piece one.
Fortnite end of season live event
Fortnite’s end-of-season event is expected to close out Override and transition players into the mini-season. Data miners link the pirate chest to that event, saying it could send players to a new location. A lore loading screen showing Jonesy and Hope falling through a rift with the chest in tow supports that idea.
Why leakers believe it is One Piece
SamLeakss, a leaker with a solid track record, said a One Piece crossover is “very likely” the mini-season. Dataminer Loolo Leaks went further, posting that it’s “90% confirmed.” The claims trace back to One Piece files found in a Rocket League update, which included text matching Gol D. Roger’s opening speech. ShiinaBR and SpushFNBR have since backed the theory.Fortnite’s official account also replied to a fan post referencing One Piece, Demon Slayer, and Chainsaw Man earlier this month, further fueling speculation.
What to expect from Fortnite x One Piece
Epic hasn’t announced any skins, weapons, or map changes. If the mini-season follows the pattern of the Simpsons season last year, expect a themed map, a mini Battle Pass, and plenty of cosmetics. Sprites are also expected to continue, based on speculation, though nothing is confirmed.

The teaser chest, the datamined files, and consistent leaks all point toward an anime-flavored mini-season starting November 1. Until Epic confirms the theme, treat One Piece as likely but not guaranteed, and watch for the next stage of the chest’s transformation.
