Civilization 7 is available in four editions and is available for pre-order now

It’s been nearly eight years since the release of Civilization VI, and now – thanks to Gamescom’s opening night scene – we finally know the official release date for Civilization VI. Sid Meier’s Civilization 7. The long-awaited strategy game is here February 11, 2025 Available for PC, Xbox, PS5 and Switch, some versions will be available in early access on February 6th. If you like physical media, you’ll definitely want to check out Deluxe Editionwhich comes with a lot of extra game content.

If February sounds far away, you can pass some time by reading Sid Meier’s Memoir: A Life of Computer Gaming. Published in 2020, this fascinating book takes you inside the mind of one of the most influential game developers. You can buy it in hardcover for $20.80 (originally $28) or in paperback for $15.26 (originally $17).

Civilization 7 pre-order bonuses

If you pre-order the Standard Edition of Civilization 7, you’ll get the Tecumseh and Shawnee Pack, otherwise it’s limited to the Deluxe and Founder’s Editions. We may see bonuses announced for retailers in the coming weeks, but for now, this is the only bonus available. This version of Civilization 7 gives you the base game and pre-order bonuses mentioned above. The game is priced at $60 on Switch and $70 on PS5, Xbox, and PC. The digital version is a cross-generation version for PS5 and PS4 or Series X|S and Xbox One. Like many other physical games, the Xbox disc is dual-licensed for both generations of consoles, while the physical PlayStation version is only available on the PlayStation 5.

The Deluxe Edition of Civilization 7 gives you access to the base game and five days of Early Access starting on February 6th.

The Civilization 7 Collector’s Edition includes physical collectibles “fitting the greatest leader of all time.” This edition is bundled with the PC version of Civilization 7 Founders Edition and comes with the following great content:
