The first Fortnite Mobile Series Championship takes place on 24 and 25 October at BLAST Studios in Copenhagen, where 16 touch-only players will meet in person to decide the first Mobile Series Champion. The event closes out a <a href="https://comicvibe.com/how-to-watch-eternally-yours-season-1-episode-2/” title=”How to Watch Eternally Yours Season 1, Episode 2″>season of online qualifying that began in December 2025, and it gives mobile players their own in-person final for the first time.
Play starts at 5:30pm CEST, according to Epic’s Fortnite Competitive account. For New Zealand that means 4:30am NZDT on Sunday 25 October for day one. The whole event is played in Reload Solos, and the Mobile Series as a whole carries a $1 million prize pool.
One Lobby, Two Days, Touch Controls Only
In the Mobile Series version of Reload, lobbies hold 16 players, building is switched off, and a match usually wraps up in about five minutes. The Championship field is also 16 players, so it fits into a single lobby. That means every match in Copenhagen puts all 16 qualifiers in the same game, with no groups or heats to split them.
Players earn points for placement and eliminations across both days, and whoever tops the final leaderboard after day two takes the title. Touch controls are mandatory: the series rules limit players to touchscreen input, which rules out controllers and other peripherals.
When Epic launched the series in December 2025, it set aside $200,000 of the $1 million for the Championship. All 16 finalists take a share, and the winner gets the largest cut. The rest of the money goes to online Qualifier payouts and Mobile Victory Cups.
How the 16 Players Qualified
The Mobile Series started in Blitz Royale. From June 2026, Epic switched it to Reload on the mini-Venture map. Each monthly Open ran two open Rounds, a Heats stage, and a Qualifier, and the top three players per region in each Qualifier moved on to September’s Group Stage. Entry required Gold rank or higher in Battle Royale Ranked or Reload Ranked, an account at level 50 or above, multi-factor authentication, and a minimum age of 13. Under the current rules, a Qualifier win paid $1,500 in Europe and NA Central and $1,200 in the other regions.
A Last Chance Open on 5 and 6 September fed the Group Stage on 12 September. There, the top eight from each of two groups advanced to the regional Semi-Finals on 13 September. The Semi-Finals handed out 15 of the 16 seats, and a separate qualifier filled the last one:
| Region | Championship seats | Route |
|---|---|---|
| Europe | 3 | Semi-Finals |
| NA Central | 3 | Semi-Finals |
| NA West | 2 | Semi-Finals |
| Oceania | 2 | Semi-Finals |
| Asia | 2 | Semi-Finals |
| Middle East | 2 | Semi-Finals |
| Brazil | 1 | Semi-Finals |
| South America | 1 | Fluxo Brazil Mobile Series Qualifier |
The Fluxo Brazil Mobile Series Qualifier was open to mobile players resident in 12 South American countries who had reached Silver rank or higher. The winner of its finals lobby takes the last seat in Copenhagen.
The Viewership Bar Fortnite Mobile Walks Into
Fortnite’s own flagship event has just set a high mark. The FNCS 2026 Global Championship in Antwerp on 26 and 27 September was Fortnite’s most-watched esports event in seven years and English-language broadcasts made up more than half of its peak audience. Even so, its peak still landed roughly 290,000 short of PUBG Mobile’s 2025 world final:
| Event | Game | Peak viewers (Esports Charts) |
|---|---|---|
| 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Championship | PUBG Mobile | 1,301,772 |
| FNCS 2026 Global Championship | Fortnite | 1.01 million |
| Free Fire World Series 2025 Global Finals (Jakarta, November 2025) | Free Fire | 775,141 |
None of those finals is a like-for-like rival for Copenhagen. PUBG Mobile and Free Fire crown team champions at the end of circuits that have run for years, and the FNCS draws on Fortnite’s main competitive scene. A first-year solo event with one 16-player lobby is a much smaller product, so a million-viewer peak is the wrong bar for its debut.
Start Times in New Zealand and Australia
Epic has listed a 5:30pm CEST start. For day one on Saturday 24 October, that converts to these local times:
| Location | Day one start |
|---|---|
| Copenhagen (official time) | 5:30pm CEST, Saturday 24 October |
| New Zealand | 4:30am NZDT, Sunday 25 October |
| Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart | 2:30am AEDT, Sunday 25 October |
| Adelaide | 2am ACDT, Sunday 25 October |
| Brisbane | 1:30am AEST, Sunday 25 October |
| Perth | 11:30pm AWST, Saturday 24 October |
Oceania has two seats in the field. The series rules bar Australian residents from competing on iOS devices, and that restriction names Australia only.
