The NFT craze came and went, and while some are still holding onto their “priceless” JPGs of monkeys, Nike left the space altogether. RTFKT, Nike’s luxury NFT label, is no longer with The Swoosh, but the .SWOOSH division, meant to be a more entry-level take on NFTs, remains. It bears the responsibility of connecting Nike to the online world, whether that be through video games or anime, and it also revived a forgotten mascot earlier this year with a Nike GT Future release: Swooshman. When rolling out the GT Future, .SWOOSH produced limited numbers of a Swooshman action figure, with the public now getting a shot at owning the rare collectible.

Nike Swooshman Costume Contest Details

.SWOOSH revealed that it will be holding a costume contest to give away five Swooshman action figures. Keeping in line with the Halloween season, .SWOOSH is inviting fans to create their best Swooshman costume, mask, or, in their own words, “anything you can put on that makes you feel like Swooshman.” It’s pretty vague and open to interpretation, but considering there are only five lucky winners, taking a picture of yourself wearing the Swooshman Nike GT Futures likely won’t get you the figure.

A pinned comment reveals the criteria for selection, with the judges basing selections on creativity (35%), accuracy (35%), and how engaging the content is (30%). Entries must not contain any third-party intellectual property, so sorry if you’re planning on dressing up like Iron Man or a superhero owned by Marvel or DC.

How to Enter the Nike Swooshman Costume Contest

To enter the Nike Swooshman costume contest, you must post an original photo or video of yourself in a Swooshman costume on a public Instagram account and tag @dotswoosh.
