Out of the frying pan, into the fire. Act 3 ended with a Brumak rocking up and deciding it wanted a forthright discussion about the preservation of Fort Vigil, and Act 4 begins with Bravo Squad wondering what on earth it can do now. This chapter contains a mixture of linear missions and one pretty substantial open area, so there are collectibles aplenty in the penultimate act. In this guide, we’re going to show you where to find all 41 Collectibles while making the Grubs pay.

    Hope and Ruin Collectibles

COG Tags of Sergeant Major Hank Rustin

Poor old Russ bit the dust during the attack, and you’re not about to let his tags go uncollected. Marcus collects these tags in the mission’s introductory cutscene, so you’ll get them as soon as that’s over, no effort needed.

    Message From the Coalition

Take a stroll down towards the front of the base and turn right. You’ll see a flag marking a makeshift memorial to those we’ve lost: the Message From the Coalition collectible is sat right in the middle on a lectern.

COG Tags of Sergeant Betsy Barnes

Follow Tai and Zee across the bridge and hug the left side of the bridge. Once you get to the other side, look beneath a ruined vehicle to find Betsy Barnes’ remains and her tags.

    Regalia Hotel VIP Guest List

After fighting your way through a swarm of Locust at the ruined cathedral, you’ll make your way towards the Regalia Hotel. Once a grand hotel for important bigwigs, this is now the site of a massacre. Deal with the Wretches on your way in and then take a look at the Reception Desk in the main foyer area to find the guest list sitting right next to the bell.

    Statuette of Roman Kalona

This is likely the next collectible you’ll pick up. You’ll need to clear the square outside of the hotel, and the one beyond it, so hop to it, soldier! We’d recommend holing up in the Golden Ale Gift Shop to take down the Reavers: you can spot it from a mile away thanks to its red awnings. Once the Locust have been dealt with, you can grab this statuette from a shelf on the right-hand side of the shop (as you face towards it).

    dISPUTE Magazine

With the square secured, you have a bit more free rein to wander around the area. There are a ton of collectibles here, so take your time. dISPUTE Magazine is a good place to start: head back to the hotel, go out the front door and head north. You’ll see a ruined underpass on your left, with a truck stuffed with supplies. On its right side, you’ll find this magazine sitting on the floor.

Anniversary Card and Tickets to Khindago

Back to the hotel again, and through to the first square where you fought off a bunch of Locust. In a ruined apartment, you’ll see a Troika turret. Head up to that apartment, and find the turret. Just behind it, in a small kitchen, you can find this card and its associated tickets sitting beneath some mugs.

    A Handwritten Letter, in Vasgari

For the next collectible, you’ll need to head down to the area of the map called Cooper Commons. Once you’re there, head to the southeast of the area and you’ll see a load of art scattered on the ground. In the midst of it, you’ll find this letter, discarded on the back of a picture frame.

COG Tags of Specialist Harrison Alexieff

Stay in Cooper Commons for this next collectible. Head to the west side and look for a dead Gear slumped against a circular planter, on the level above the entrance to the subway.

COG Tags of Specialist Dale Maddoc

This collectible is located right near the university. Head to the large paved area before the university and look for a staircase with blood smeared on its side. You’ll find Specialist Maddoc right at the bottom of the blood smear.

    Blood Splattered Ulk Plushie

After being tasked with heading to District Gate Station and taking out a veritable hive of Locust outside the Opera House, you can explore this final area to grab the last three collectibles. The first is this bloody Ulk Plushie, which you can find behind a parked blue car just north of the gate you entered the Northern Sector from.

COG Tags of Specialist Mei Aoi

Just to the left of the Opera House, you’ll spot a road heading north. Follow this road until you reach an abandoned ambulance. You can find the remains of Specialist Aoi just behind it.

    Lighter Darker Opera Program

To find the final collectible for this mission, you’ll need to head up to the main balcony of the Opera House. Head inside and make your way up by a civilian and will immediately find out why. Take care of the snipers, then grab this program, located next to the far wall

    Technical Difficulties Collectibles

COG Tags of Sergeant Aman Landry

This collectible is time-limited, unlike pretty much all others in the game. After taking care of the Locust in the first station, position yourself at the second door from the front of the train. When it arrives at the next station, itself heavily infested with Grubs, hop out and grab Sergeant Landry’s tags before bee lining back onto the train before it departs.

    NO 80 Graffitied Poster

Once you get to the second station, hop off the train and turn left instead of heading out. On the other side of the platform, against a central wall, you’ll find this poster.

    Tough as Nails Collectibles

    Port of Kalona Docking Registry

This map is full of collectibles, but this is the only one we’d recommend before completing all your main objectives, and before heading out with Auntie. The Port of Kalona Docking Registry is in the Comms Tower, where you’ll be heading to attempt to contact HQ. You can find it on a control panel on the lower level.

    Maraday Apple Brandy Bottle

South of the Power Station, you’ll find a rooftop that’s accessible by clambering up over a truck’s hood and onto its roof, then onto an adjacent rooftop. Head through the building connecting the two, and you’ll find a bottle of this brandy next to a radio and a collection of tools against the back wall.

    Seradyne Factory Closing Sign

Head to the assembly line building, and then go to the east side. Next to a staircase leading up to the upper level, you’ll see this sign attached to a wall.

    Blurry Photo of Locust Attack

Across the street from where you loaded the truck, you’ll see a small rectangular building. Climb up the nearby truck and then head through the small doorway. The photo will be right in front of you.

    Severed JACK Bot Head

West of the warehouse where you loaded the truck, you’ll see a brick building that’s been blown to bits. Head inside and you’ll make this rather grim discovery next to a dead Gear.

COG Tags of Corporal Dalia Avdol

Inside the warehouse where you loaded the truck, you’ll find a collapsed walkway. Maneuver yourself to a nearby platform and you’ll be able to jump across and grab this collectible from the upper level.

COG Tags of Lieutenant Jacob Palma

You can find the very unfortunate Jacob Palma behind a freight train on the south side of the docklands. Hunt behind the trains and you’ll find him in no time.

    Imulsion Blast Charge

To get this collectible, you’ll need to take on the side objective Special Cargo. You can start this side objective by talking to the civilians in the dockyard. When you start it, you’ll have to fight your way through Locust before finding a military container. Open it and you can grab this charge as well as some other goodies.

    Refiner’s Union Jacket

Another cool dockyard collectible, you can find this jacket tucked away between some shelves and cleaning supplies in central dockyard building, on its south end.

    R.I.G. Component

Head to the freight yard in the northwest of the map, and look for the leftmost train car. Head inside and you’ll find a broken down R.I.G., with this collectible next to it.

    A Letter Regarding Armadillos

Near the freight yard and dockyard, you’ll come across a group of civilians who are deliberately luring Locust in to blow them up with explosives. Help them deal with their prey, then head inside, and go through to the office with the funky tiled floors. You can find this letter on a filing cabinet next to the first desk on your left.

    Young Artists Night Poster

To find this collectible, put your back to the gate that you entered into this area through. Then head up and turn left around the fence to find this poster on a nearby wall.

COG Tags of Lance Corporal Calder Hunt

Head up to the highest roof in the area, part of the central building complex. You’ll know you’re on the right roof when you find a dead Reaver with this unfortunate Lance Corporal next to it, with his tags on his left side.

COG Tags of Corporal Goran Ducaine

Sticking in the central building complex, you can find this fellow in a building that houses a bunch of Centaurs. He’s up against an emergency exit door, impaled by a Gorehook.

    Signals Collectibles

    Infinity Mints

The first collectible of this brief mission is pretty easy to find. Fight your way up to the gas station and defeat the Locust who are squatting there, then head inside and look behind the counter to find these mints.

    Signed Kalona Eagles Cap

The first collectible of the mission that means an awful lot to Reyes, you’ll find this cap underneath a metal bridge just before you get to the radio tower. Head underneath the bridge

    Pair of Binoculars

Head to the back of the complex and you’ll find this catwalk over to a radome. Walk over and you’ll find the binoculars against the wall.

Photo of Lucas and His Friends

Head inside the main building, but don’t use the radio just yet. Instead, turn left and you’ll find a corkboard with this photo pinned to it.

    Lucas’ Handheld Radio

Remaining inside the main building, head down to the lower level and look on the far desk next to a coil of wire to find Lucas’ old radio, the final collectible for this mission.

    Paths Diverge Collectibles

COG Tags of Lance Corporal Aniyah

At the very beginning of this mission, don’t follow Auntie right off the bat. Instead, turn around and look into the nearby corner to find Aniyah and her tags.

COG Tags of Lance Corporal Ava Wilson

To find these tags, clear the docks and then, before moving on, head to the north side of the dockyard on the far west of the map. You’ll find this body slumped against a door to one of the units, with her tags right next to her.

    Critical Failure Collectibles

    Bust of Allfather Decha Timgad

Here we are, then, the very last mission of Act 4 and we’ve got to take on a refinery full of Locust single-handedly. Your first collectible is found right in the entrance to the refinery, behind the rather grand reception desk.

    Damaged Gas Mask

After heading up to the roof, you’ll be told to head down a pipe to reach the next area. Don’t go down just yet, though. Instead, swing to the second small area to the right of the pipe entrance, and you’ll find a body and their gas mask, the second collectible of this mission.

    Tyran Business Monthly

After the team splits up and then comes back together, you’ll come to an area full of control rooms, and, shocker, a bunch of Locust. Take them down and then look in the control room towards the back left of the room to find this magazine.

    Memorandum to Dr. Elliott

As you continue your way deeper into the complex, you’ll come across a room with a dead Gear slumped against a desk. Just behind the desk, on a nearby shelf, you’ll find this memo, the penultimate collectible of the Act.

    Dalia Fabbri’s Research Journal

The last collectible can be found in the room where you’ll stumble across the design of a new bomb that uses Imulsion. Towards the back left of the room, there’s a small table with Dalia Fabbri’s Research Journal sitting on top of it.
