Hey! Listen!
Today has brought us our biggest look at the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake since last month’s Direct. New features and changes have been revealed by various impressions articles as well as Nintendo themselves. The latest tidbit comes from an article on Nintendo Japan’s official site.
According to the article, there will be a new type of collectible to discover in this version of Ocarina of Time. It’s being referred to as “Navi’s Thoughts”, named after Link’s very own fairy. These can be found in various hidden spots throughout Hyrule, and each one will reward you with some kind of secret message from Navi.
In the example screenshot below, Navi’s message roughly translates to English as “The tree shook and something fell, right? I don’t think it was just a coincidence”.
We’ll see exactly what these messages entail and whether or not they add up to anything greater when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is released on November 5th, 2026.
