If the upcoming launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on November 5 has left you wanting to finally upgrade to a Nintendo Switch 2, you’re in luck.
The console has dropped to its lowest ever price on Amazon in the UK.
In fact, you can now pick up the Nintendo Switch 2 for cheaper than the console cost at launch, despite it undergoing a price hike back in September.
The Nintendo Switch 2 originally launched for £395.99 but now holds an RRP of £419.99.
Amazon is currently, however, hosting a limited-time discount of 15%, bringing the Nintendo Switch 2 down from £419.99 to £345.99.
This is the standard version of the Nintendo Switch 2, so it doesn’t come bundled with any extra accessories.
It is a worthy upgrade if you are still making use of the original Nintendo Switch; the Nintendo Switch 2 boasts a 7.9-inch (1080p) screen and can support up to 120fps and up to 4K in TV mode.
It plays both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games, and includes several new features like mouse controls, GameChat, and a built-in microphone.
This deal doesn’t include any games but it does save you £65 – and you could use that £65 to pick up some complimentary titles.
Three unmissable offers on Nintendo Switch 2 games
Amazon also has plenty of Nintendo Switch 2 games on offer, despite the fact that Prime Big Deal Days have now drawn to a close – and here are our personal picks.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade – Nintendo Switch 2
Square Enix’s beloved 2020 remake finally made its way to Nintendo Switch 2 at the top of 2026 – and it’s now welcoming a 38% discount, bringing the price down to $24.99 in the US.
If you’re yet to play this reimagined classic, there’s no better time. Final Fantasy VII Remake was followed up by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, with the third and final instalment in the trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, due to drop in April 2027.
Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake – Nintendo Switch 2
Just as Final Fantasy is a titan of the RPG genre, as is Dragon Quest, even if it’s never quite been appreciated in the West as much as it is back in Japan.
Also created by Square Enix, this is another pitch-perfect remake of not just one but two all-time classics.
Square Enix’s HD-2D technology is a feast for the eyes – and you can get your hands on this dual release for $48.95 in the US, saving you 18%.
Resident Evil Requiem – Nintendo Switch 2
Resident Evil Requiemmade history earlier this year, being the first Resident Evil entry to launch day one on a Nintendo console since 2012’s Resident Evil: Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS.
Widely considered to be a GOTY contender ahead of 2026’s The Game Awards,Resident Evil Requiem is a must-play, reuniting players with the beloved Leon Kennedy and introducing them to new heroine Grace Ashcroft.
This is an older, more rugged take on Leon with Capcom reportedly consulting female members of the development team to optimise Leon’s aesthetic appeal. They did a great job.
With a 29% discount currently running, you can secure the game for $49.99 on Amazon US.
