Late-night TV’s favorite soap opera parody gets a hilarious makeover after Dakota Johnson’s bizarre medical diagnosis goes viral.
The Verity star recently joined host Jimmy Fallon for a guest spot on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’s hilarious microdrama, Who Billionaire? Me Billionaire. Playing an utterly unqualified nurse examining a comatose patient played by John Stamos, Johnson repeatedly checked his forehead for a fever before concluding his coma was worsening.
Sharing the hilarious skit, The Tonight Show’s official social media accounts posted a rhythmic edit titled “Who Billionaire? Me Billionaire. The Remix,” which samples dialogue from Johnson and Fallon’s humorous conversation.
The new video revisits Dakota Johnson’s memorable Season 2 appearance
The remixed video pulls lines from Episode 11 of the series, which pokes fun at hyper-dramatic web novels and micro-soaps. In the scene, Johnson’s character reveals that the hospital doctor inspecting Stamos is actually a lawyer and, according to her character, also a side-hustling club DJ.
Such outlandish satire is commonplace on Who Billionaire? Me Billionaire, which pokes fun at billionaire culture. The show often deals with such comedy and features guests like Johnson in special roles. The returning cast of the microdrama includes Fallon, John Stamos, Kasey Esser, Rose Kelso, and Delaney Rowe.
The show is viewed as a late-night television’s first microdrama and can be streamed on the Peacock app and on social media platforms like Instagram. As The Daily Show is currently looking to break into the same format with a satire of their own. The show is titled Two Billionaires Fight to Dominate the Country… And My Heart!
