Prepare for trouble… and make it double. Jazwares has unveiled a new official Pokémon plush based on one of the anime’s most iconic vehicles: Team Rocket’s Meowth hot air balloon. And it will only be available as a San Diego Comic-Con 2026 exclusive
Officially named “Blasting Off Again! Meowth Balloon Plush,” the collectible recreates the famous balloon used by Jessie, James, and Meowththroughout the Pokémon animated series. Jazwares revealed the plush on Instagram as part of its exclusive lineup for this year’s convention
A Pokémon collectible inspired by one of the anime’s most memorable vehicles
The Meowth Balloon Plush stands 16 inches tall, making it a sizeable display piece for collectors. It also includes a 3.5-inch Meowth plush that sits inside the balloon’s basket, faithfully recreating the look of Team Rocket’s signature airship. Jazwares has also included a built-in display hook, allowing fans to hang the plush and display it as if it were floating. As with many convention exclusives, Jazwares has not announced whether the plush will receive a wider retail release after the event.

Marvel Studios skips keynote presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2025
San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will take place from July 23 through July 26 at the San Diego Convention Center in California. Beyond exclusive collectibles, the event is expected to feature major entertainment announcements across film, television, animation, and gaming. Studios including Marvel are expected to showcase upcoming projects, while fans are also anticipating new updates on highly anticipated releases such as Avatar: Aang – The Last Airbender following the debut of its first trailer earlier this week.
