The Choir marks James and Ruth’s first collaboration since the conclusion of Gavin & Stacey, the iconic BBC sitcom which ran for three seasons between 2007 and 2010, returning for Christmas specials in 2019 and 2024. With an audience of almost 20 million viewers, the final episode became one of the most watched scripted TV shows of the century.
