Actor Sivakarthikeyan put his fans in the spotlight at a large gathering in Porur, Chennai where he spoke freely about his journey, criticism, education and the importance of family.
Speaking to thousands of fan-club members and administrators, the actor dismissed the often-used description of being a “self-made star” and instead credited the people who have stood by him throughout his career.
You call me a self-made star, but it was the people who made me a star. “I am a star made by people,” Sivakarthikeyan said.

Sivakarthikeyan’s Message To Fans Not To Forget Their Goal
The actor also had a message for his fans on how to handle criticism. But instead of letting outside opinions become a distraction, he encouraged them to keep their focus on why they had come together.
Criticism would not stop no matter what they did, he said, but he emphasised that the bond between him and his fans was a two-way affection.

Sivakarthikeyan took the opportunity to speak about issues beyond cinema and stardom and exhorted his fans to take education seriously, become financially independent and prioritize their families.
He also asked them to develop a reading habit, saying that even a little time spent with books each day could change their thinking and be a healthy substitute for over-reliance on social media.
The message seems to be directed at pushing his fanbase to self-improvement, not just basking in his stardom.
Tamil star fan meets grab attention
The assembly also comes at a time when fan engagement with top Tamil actors has been attracting more eyeballs. Fans of both Dhanush and Suriya have been abuzz about their recent meetings. Similarly, Sivakarthikeyan’s latest event too has become a talking point.
But mostly Sivakarthikeyan’s speech was about his relation to his fans and the values he wanted them to carry forward – education, family and staying focused despite criticism.

Professionally, Sivakarthikeyan is working on Seyon, which is directed by Sivakumar Murugesan. The actor recently revealed the film is around 60 per cent complete and will most likely release during the Pongal 2027 time rather than the earlier window of October.
He is also set to headline SK27, which has now gone on floors with Parking filmmaker Ramkumar Balakrishnan at the helm. Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the film, which features Kayadu Lohar.
Sivakarthikeyan’s recent interaction once again highlighted his strong bond with his fans, while also making it clear that he considers that relationship to be an important part of his journey with two interesting projects in his pipeline.
