Ranma 1/2: Season 3 (October 3)
Rumiko Takahashi’s Ranma 1/2 manga laid the groundwork for some of the genre’s most enduring tropes (gender switching, horny old guys, tournaments), and this is the second anime adaptation, this time from Studio MAPPA. The third season sees Ranma and fiancée Akane have to deal with old annoyances, new dangers, and even more shenanigans.

Inside the Circle (October 7)
In the Mexican drama series Inside the Circle, four lifelong friends accidentally uncover a video that links a powerful government official to the unsolved death of an actress. One of them, journalist Tomas, goes public with the information, unleashing powerful enemies. Now they must protect themselves and each other as they seek justice and navigate a system that’s corrupt all the way to the top.

Below (October 8)
Set in the remote Newfoundland town of Snook’s Arm, Below is a new Canadian thriller series that looks pretty cool. Josh Hartnett stars as a fisherman who learns of a mysterious, massive predator in the sea that is sinking boats and killing his friends and neighbors. Creator Jesse McKeown was a writer on The Umbrella Academy, so he knows how to go big with freaky thrills.
