ASUS ROG Ally X AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme Handheld Gaming PC (24GB/2TB)
The ROG Ally Xwas released at the tail end of 2025 and is still one of most powerful handhelds you can get. It features an AMD Zen 4 based Z1 Extreme CPU with a whopping 24GB of LPDDR5X-7500 RAM and a generously sized 2TB SSD. It’s more powerful than the Ryzen Z2, Ryzen Z2 Go and Ryzen Z2A APUs you’ll find on similarly priced handhelds like the Steam Deck, Xbox Ally and Legion Go S. The only APU that’s more powerful is the Z2 Extreme, which is found in gaming handhelds that cost $1,000 or more. It boasts a 7″ screen size with a sharp 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The Ally X has three major upgrades over its predecessor. First, the Ally X boasts a massive 80Wh battery that’s double the size of the original Ally. You can now get up to 5-6 hours of playtime on a single charge. This particular model also comes with 2TB of built-in storage, which is nearly unheard of in handheld gaming PCs, especially considering how expensive flash storage is nowadays. The Ally X also has a second USB port, which now allows you to connect to peripherals (or a bigger display) while simulataneously charging through your first port.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this deal sells out shortly.
