Pads or tampons? Raven-Symoné prefers neither.
The 40-year-old revealed that she prefers to use diapers when she’s menstruating. As her period has “mellowed out” over the years and she “stopped sticking things inside of” herself, Raven shared that these disposable undergarments have become her go-to.
“I’m just able to wear a diaper throughout the day with a little baby T-shirt and a binky in my mouth and run around the house,” she said on a recent episode of Tea Time, her podcast with wife Miranda Pearman-Maday. “Shout out Rugrats. I’m thriving.”
She further quipped that she likes sagging her pants to show off her diaper. Meanwhile, Maday admitted that Raven’s undies make “wet diaper booty” noises when she walks around the house.
Still, Maday isn’t judging, although she thinks her wife is doing “some inner-child work” with those diapers. Jokes aside, the That’s So Raven alum said she’s happy to have more choices in her menstruation products.
“I really appreciate the fact that we’re starting to like think outside the box of the period and containment,” she said. “And a healthier space and I just want everyone to try it.”

Although her love for her diaper is strong, Raven admitted it might not be the best for the environment. Still, she feels like period underwear — which are designed to absorb any fluids from menstruation — aren’t enough for her “strong” flow.
“I didn’t like those as much,” she shared. “They didn’t hold as much.”
