Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to make its television debut after its successful theatrical run. The film has received a revised certification for its TV premiere.

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar to premiere on TV
Ranveer Singh starrer and Aditya Dhar directorial Dhurandhar (2025) broke multiple box office and OTT records; now Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026) is gearing up for its television debut.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is reportedly scheduled to broadcast on Star Gold on Sunday, October 18, at 7:00 pm.
However, the makers were required to resubmit the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) as it initially received an ‘A’ certification for its theatrical run. The makers also have to carry out the needed edits to create a television-friendly version appropriate for younger audiences.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification cleared the film with a U/A 16+ rating on September 24. The film ended up undergoing multiple cuts.

“The makers, however, have smoothly edited out the disturbing scenes in such a way that the impact of the film stayed intact,” the insider added to the outlet.
Following the suggested changes, the CBFC granted approval for the television premiere of Dhurandhar The Revenge.
According to the CBFC website, the U/A 16+ version runs for 219 minutes and 6 seconds. This means the revised version lasts 3 hours, 39 minutes and 6 seconds. The theatrical version of the film had a runtime of 229.6 minutes, which is 3 hours, 49 minutes and 6 seconds.
The revised version of Dhurandhar: The Revenge is 10 minutes shorter.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge features Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun in its cast.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is backed by Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar’s B62 Studios, along with Jyoti Deshpande’s Jio Studios.
The plot follows an Indian spy who goes undercover inside a feared gang in Karachi, Pakistan, and causes chaos. Dhurandhar was released in theatres on December 5, 2025, while Dhurandhar: The Revenge hit cinemas on March 19 of this year. Both movies emerged as record-breaking blockbusters.
