Created by Tim Federle, Coven Academy is a supernatural comedy-drama set in New Orleans. It chronicles the adventures of a trio of trainee witches who must protect their city while navigating their roller-coaster lives. The star cast features Malina Weissman, Tiffani Thiessen, Louis Thresher, Malachi Barton, and many others in key roles.
Weissman told Entertainment Weekly that she was “obsessed” with the show and its “darker, eerie world,” after reading the first script. She added, “It brought back so much nostalgia for me from shows that I grew up with, and it’s so exciting that Disney is bringing that back for this generation.”
