No. 4 Atlanta and No. 5 Washington will go head-to-head in the first round of the playoffs. Winner of the best-of-three series moves on to the league semifinals.
For the Dream, they failed to advance out of round one for three straight years, last season’s matchup ending in three games. However, Atlanta is revamped this season, and it could very well returns to the finals for the first time in 13 years.
Washington will be a worthy opponent, a young squad who plays free and flies under the radar. It’s back in the postseason after a two-season hiatus, and the Mystics are going to take advantage of every chance they have to prove themselves.
