Rajinikanth’s most-awaited song from Jailer 2 recently releases on 25 September.

Jailer 2 makers have dropped the second song of the much-awaited Rajinikanth starrer. The track, ‘One Sun One Moon’, was released by Sun Pictures Friday and celebrates the superstar’s popularity and larger-than-life image.
Heisenberg and Super Subu have written the lyrics for the song that is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and rendered by him along with MS Krsna. The highlight of the song is the line “Innaikkum Ennennaikkum, Oru Thalaivan Dhaan”, a tribute to the evergreen popularity of Rajinikanth among his fans.
The song also offers glimpses of Rajinikanth in his character from the sequel, giving fans a closer look at his new look.
Nelson directorial ‘Jailer 2’ brings back several actors of 2023 blockbuster. Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa, Shivarajkumar, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq and Vinayakan are back for the sequel.
Sun Pictures is yet to confirm officially but Mohanlal is also expected to reprise his role from Jailer.
The sequel has also brought in a lot of new actors to its cast including SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vidya Balan, Vijay Sethupathi, Anna Rajan, Hakkim Shah, Bagavathi Perumal, Meghana Raj, Shamna Kasim and Jatin Sarna, who are now all part of the franchise.
Shah Rukh Khan, Mithun Chakraborty and Hrithik Roshan have also been reported to be associated with the film but these casting reports are unconfirmed.
Most of original technical team returns
Most of the technical crew from the first film are back for Jailer 2. Anirudh is back as music composer and R Nirmal is back as editor and Vijay Kartik Kannan as cinematographer.
DRK Kiran is in charge of the production design, Pallavi Singh and Muthul Hafeez are in charge of the costumes. The big new addition to the technical team is stunt choreographer Chethan D’Souza.
While Nelson continues the story, the behind-the-camera continuity will maintain the visual and stylistic elements of the original film.
Jailer 2 is set to release in theaters on October 15. The Rajinikanth-Nelson reunion is only getting more exciting as the film is nearing its theatrical release and the second song has been released.
