Isshiki-san Wants to Know About Love Unveils New Visual & More Cast Members

Anew key visualand four more voice cast members have been unveiled for the upcomingIsshiki-san Wants to Know About LoveTV anime series. The anime is scheduled tobegin broadcasting in Japan in January 2027. 

The four additional cast members include: 

• • Haruki Ishiyaas Danjuro Iwata 
• • Takuma Nagatsukaas Masato Nakatani
• • Hiiro Ishibashias Chikai Matsumoto
• • Yu Wakuias Rena Yamakawa 

They join a previously announced voice cast that consist ofRiko Akechias the titular Isshiki Rinna Milford andShuichiro Umedaas Meishi Rokutanda. 

Kazuya Komai(Akine no Konai Kaikin hi, Beck: Mongolian Chop SquadandTexhnolyzeEpisode 15 storyboard artist and director) is directing the anime series, withDeko Akao(May I Ask for One Final Thing?) as series composer andShohei Hamaguchi(Glamorous Heroes) as character designer.Sakura Createis handling the animation production.

The romantic comedy manga series byAyune Araragibegan serialization in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shonen Ace magazine on June 26, 2020. Ten tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of May 2026. Its Japanese title isIsshiki-san wa Koi o Shiritai. 

The manga was initially published under the titleRinna-keibu wa Kokyu ga Dekinaibetween 2016 to 2017.
