(WDBJ) – Friday is <a href="https://comicvibe.com/build-the-pyramid-codes-september-2026/” title=”Build The Pyramid Codes (September 2026)”>September 25th, or 9-2-5, now known as Dolly Day, and hometowns are marking the occasion with events, along with an alternative rock concert in Roanoke and an Oktoberfest gathering in Blacksburg
Dolly Disco 2026 Big Hair Big Hearts will be held Friday night at The Exchange Music Hall in downtown Roanoke, starting at 7 p.m. The event will feature Tomas C of Magic City Discos, with Femme Fatales Vinyl Club.
Tickets are $15, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Downtown Lynchburg businesses are participating in Dolly Day celebrations all day Friday. The Water Dog will offer karaoke from 7 to 10 p.m., along with featured cocktails and no cover charge.

The multi-platinum alternative rock band 311 will perform at Elmwood Park Amphitheater Friday night as part of the Budweiser Summer Series. Gates open at 6 p.m., with the opening act starting at 7 p.m.

Eastern Divide Brewing Company in Blacksburg will hold an Oktoberfest celebration Friday starting at 3 p.m. The event will include German-style beers on tap, traditional German foods, stein games and live music from The Sauerkraut Band starting at 6 p.m.
