Veteran Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan passed away on Thursday evening. He was 75. He took his last breath on September 24 at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.
Mushtaq Khan was known for his memorable performances in movies like Welcome, Aashiqui, Hera Pheri, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Jodi No. 1 and more. His demise has left a void in the entertainment industry.

According to reports, Mushtaq Khan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital due to health complications. While he was receiving treatment, doctors diagnosed him with cancer, his manager said.
The veteran actor’s health continued to worsen despite the medical care. He passed away while undergoing treatment.

Actor-comedian Sunil Pal paid tribute to Mushtaq Khan on social media, soon after the news about his death was confirmed.
Sunil Pal took to his Instagram Story and shared a picture of the veteran actor. Sharing the picture, he wrote in the caption, “RIP Mushtaq Khan saab.”
Who was Mushtaq Khan?
Mushtaq Khan was born on December 31, 1950, in Madhya Pradesh. He established a long and successful career spanning Hindi cinema and television. He was known for his versatility, comic timing and memorable supporting roles.
His notable film credits include Aashiqui, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Hera Pheri, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Jodi No. 1, Welcome, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Badhaai Do and Stree 2.
He was also a well-known actor in television, appearing in shows such as Nukkad, Wagle Ki Duniya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Chamatkar, Tedhe Medhe Sapne, Adaalat and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.
He became popular for his role as a disabled hockey player in the Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif-starrer movie Welcome (2007). His dialogue, ‘meri ek taang nakli hai,’ in Welcome helped him to make a special place in his fans’ hearts.
