The 20th season of Bigg Boss Hindi, produced by Endemol Shine India, has achieved a major milestone on streaming less than a month after its premiere. The latest season, which began on September 6, has crossed the 20 million mark in a single week

The Salman Khan-hosted reality show airs on Colors TV and streams on JioHotstar, bringing together contestants from different corners of the entertainment and digital space.

Television actors, film personalities and popular digital creators have entered the house this season, setting the stage for constantly changing equations and rivalries.

Ormax Media highlighted the latest viewership milestone on social media, sharing its StreamView data for the week ending September 20. The post was captioned: “Ormax StreamView: In the week ending Sep 20, Bigg Boss (Hindi) S20 becomes the first non-cricket property to cross the 20 million mark in a single week in 2026.

Right from its inception, the show has been subject to many debates, since there have been debates regarding regular household matters, captaincy battles, and also the ration fights.

Some of the contestants like Qazi, Mahi, Amrapali, and Yung have got themselves entangled in some controversies, and the host of the show, Salman Khan, has talked to the contestants on Weekend Ka Vaar.

Its digital performance also comes amid the growing popularity of OTT-first viewing, with audiences following the action on JioHotstar alongside its television broadcast.
