Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition and Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition are both coming to Nintendo Switch 2, it’s been revealed. A listing on the Nintendo eShop has them down for September 30, 2026.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War Game of the Year Edition features season pass content – specifically the Guardians of the Flaming Eye Warband Mission, Lord of the Hunt Story Mission, The Bright Lord Story Mission, and additional Warband Missions, Runes, and Skins. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Definitive Edition contains the Desolation of Mordor and Blade of Galadriel Story Expansions, Slaughter Tribe and Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansions, and Sword of Dominion bonus weapon.

Pricing for Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is set at $49.99 and $19.99 respectively, but pre-orders are live at a 50 percent discount. You can also get a bundle which is normally priced at $70, but is 50 percent off with pre-orders as well.
