Pamela Anderson hasn’t retired her mascara just yet.
The Baywatch alum skirted her makeup-free rule by going full glam at the Vogue World show during Milan Fashion Week Sept. 22.
With her signature blonde hair styled in side-swept curls, Anderson rocked jet black liner and gray eyeshadow for a smokey eye, as well as light pink lipstick. The 59-year-old capped off her look with a golden lamé maxi dress from Ferragamo, which she paired with a large chain necklace, a bangle bracelet and a cocktail ring.
This marked one of the rare times Anderson opted to wear makeup on the red carpet since 2023, when she swore off “doing big makeup looks.”
“It’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite,” she quipped to Elle at the time, explaining that her fresh-face approach to beauty felt “freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too.”
“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older,” Anderson continued. “And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’”

Calling her transformation “a journey,” the formerPlayboy model added, “I feel rooted for. I feel good. I’m in a good place.”
But that’s not to say she has an issue with the makeup and beauty industry. As she put it the following year, “I did that for myself.”
“It wasn’t to make a political statement, I just wanted to have my little weird face sticking out of the top of those great clothes,” Anderson told Allurein a 2024 interview. “I don’t think you should give me the credit of it being a stunt because that’s not how I think. But the timing and the stars aligned.”
In fact, she had some fun with makeup at the Met Gala that year, enlisting Pat McGrath to do her glam for the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”-themed event.
“Pam wanted to wear makeup again for the Met Gala, so we created a look that acknowledged her natural beauty, but then took it to the next level,” McGrath shared at the time. “We wanted to explore the next incarnation of natural…and show how you can wear a full face of makeup but in a very fresh and beautiful way.”
