Prabhas’ Fauzi gets delayed, makers promise a massive cinematic experience

Prabhas’ Fauzi has been delayed beyond its December 3 release date. Producer Ravi Shankar confirmed the postponement at The Paradise event and promised a massive film, with the new release date expected to be announced for 2027

Fans of Prabhas will have to wait a little longer for Fauzi. Producer Ravi Shankar has confirmed that the period drama, which was earlier scheduled to release on December 3, has been pushed back. Speaking at Nani’s The Paradise event, he promised that the extra time would help the team deliver a film on a massive scale.
Makers confirm delay in Fauzi release
Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers confirmed the delay while speaking at the pre-release event of Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise on September 21. He said the film was being pushed back but assured fans that the additional time would be used to deliver a large-scale project.
Ravi said, “Fauzi is being pushed back a little bit, but it’s a next-level movie. You haven’t seen brother Prabhas look so grand since Baahubali. It’s a movie of that scale. However, small sorry that we are pushing it back a bit. You will cherish it for a lifetime. It’s such a massive and great movie.”
Fauzi was earlier set to release on December 3. The makers are expected to announce a new release date for the film in 2027.

The film has triggered huge interest among fans and film buffs ever since the makers first announced the project last year. Fauzi hit the limelight earlier this year in April, when director Hanu Raghavapudi made an emotional appeal to people, asking them not to circulate leaked images of the film on social media.
Taking to his social media timelines, he had then said, “We’ve poured our hearts into #Fauzi to give you something truly special. Humbly requesting everyone, please don’t spoil the magic with leaks. Let’s experience it the way it’s meant to be⦠together in theatres.”
Fauzi marks Prabhas’s return to a grand period drama epic after Baahubali, promising an emotional and visually breathtaking cinematic experience. The film is expected to be released in theatres in multiple languages this year. The film will also feature actress Imanvi as the female lead. Apart from Prabhas and Imanvi, the film will also feature veteran actors Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander and Jayapradha in pivotal roles.
Interestingly, Fauzi has a vast world waiting to be explored, with director Hanu Raghavapudi confirming that the film will be released in two parts. Apart from this, Prabhas is also awaiting the release of Spirit, the Kalki sequel and Salaar 2.
