Scarlet Witch VisionQuest appearance remains unconfirmed
Bettany was asked whether his on-screen partner would return in VisionQuest. “That is, at this point, a matter of secrecy,” he said. “And it’s secret even to me. There are also other surprises to come, and other big reveals.”
That does not confirm Olsen filmed a scene, or even that Wanda appears in the series. It does explain why the question is back in circulation: VisionQuest is the third part of the television story that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. Billy Maximoff appeared in the latter, while VisionQuest introduces Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff.
The Scarlet Witch VisionQuest question is therefore less about a confirmed casting announcement than the shape of Marvel’s family tree. Wanda was last seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where she was seemingly buried beneath Mount Wundagore. Marvel has not announced her return to this series, and fan theories about post-credit scenes or recent reshoots remain speculation.
What Marvel has confirmed about VisionQuest
Marvel’s <a href="https://www.marvel.com/articles/tv-shows/marvel-television-visionquest-release-date” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>official release announcement says VisionQuest will debut on October 14, 2026, on Disney+. Paul Bettany returns as Vision, James Spader returns as Ultron, and Terry Matalas is the showrunner. The series follows Vision as he searches for meaning while dealing with the artificial intelligences inside his programming and a mysterious boy who may be his son.
That gives the show plenty to resolve without requiring Wanda to walk through the nearest wall. A Scarlet Witch appearance would close a neat loop, but Marvel is still keeping that particular door closed.
