Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars kicks off with a twist in a two-night premiere starting on Tuesday night on ABC.
You’re not going to want to miss the two-night season premiere of Dancing with the Stars starting on Tuesday night. The premiere airs Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Alfonso Ribeiro hosts the show and is best known for starring in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos. His co-host, Julianne Hough, has been with the show since nearly the beginning in 2005. She joined the cast in 2007 as a professional dancer, won the competition twice, and later moved on to judging. No one has been involved in more facets of this show, and she has served as co-host since 2023. This season’s hosts include Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. The latter is Julianne’s brother, who also won an Emmy for his work on the series. The twist in this season premiere hasn’t been utilized since 2018. First, the male celebrities will open the show with their partners on Tuesday and the female celebrities will take the stage on Wednesday. Then, one male and one female will be eliminated in these premiere episodes, which almost hasn’t happened for a decade.
