Primal Rumble, a slapstick comedy card battler coming soon to Quest, launched a limited beta.

Publisher Impact Inked and developer Play XD have announced a beta for their comedic card battle game Primal Rumble.

During the beta, players will be able to get an early look at Primal Rumble’s slapstick comedy card battling gameplay, collect and compete with the game’s Primals, try new moves, experiment with card decks, and help the developers shape the game prior to launch.

Primal Rumble is a card battler that can be played in VR and mixed reality, with the latter mode transforming your real world space into a living playground full of vinyl-statue-esque “Primals.” Players collect cute, funny creatures called ‘Primals’ and compete against up to three other collectors in a mixed reality arena. Each card represents a move for a Primal, played one by one in a familiar turn-based game loop.

A trailer embedded below shares a bit of what to expect from Primal Rumble.
