The “Roblox Everywhere” initiative is set to allow creators to distribute their games across mobile, PC, and console platforms.

During this year’s Roblox Developers Conference, it was revealed that creators will have the capacity to release their games as separate apps on multiple systems. Roblox itself will provide the foundational technology and services.

The possibility of these standalone apps appearing on third-party platforms remains uncertain. A Roblox spokesperson informed PC Gamer that initial testing will be limited to selected developers and platforms, with more information to come.

Another key development is the planned implementation of offline solo play, available for early access before a full release expected by mid-2027.

Roblox will update its engine with new elements such as an orthographic camera, dynamic image containers, direct sprite-sheet import capabilities, and improved user interfaces.

An AI creation layer will enhance Roblox’s cloud-based operating system, tailored for complex gaming needs. The mobile Build feature, powered by AI, will extend its presence from New Zealand to include Serbia and Singapore.

Earlier in the year, new AI tools were launched by Roblox, enabling developers to create games with just a single command.

Additionally, Roblox introduced financial solutions such as Roblox Wallet and a Roblox Card, offering creators faster payment access. With these features, creators can receive daily earnings in their local currency and transfer money both within Roblox and to external banks.

Roblox Wallet is expected to debut this December for US-based independent creators aged 18 and older, with a global rollout planned for the following year. A physical card, usable globally, will be available in 2027 to let creators spend their earnings directly.

Roblox recently disclosed a 36% rise in revenue, reaching $1.5 billion, as documented in their latest financial report.

However, the company struggled with declining monetization per user in regions like the US and Canada, leading to a 70% drop in stock value.

Chief Financial Officer Naveen Chopra explained that algorithm adjustments, which focus on long-term player retention, had an unexpected short-term effect on monetization among younger users. He indicated that while adjustments using age verification data might alle to persist for now
